About Barkley Hall

Barkley Hall is the student residence of the RTC and is named in honour of Prof Alexander Barkley, the RTC founding Principal. We have a commitment to provide accommodation guided by a Christian ethos for who are moving to Geelong for the purpose of tertiary study.  We strive to provide the experience of a friendly, supportive community at a reasonable cost. Barkley Hall welcomes students from all backgrounds. It aims to provide opportunities to meet others and form friendships in a safe environment. It's a place where lifelong friendships are forged.

Barkley Hall rooms are segregated on the basis of gender. Allocation of rooms is usually made on a "first-come, first-served" basis. A range of room options are available - fully furnished standard rooms, large rooms and ensuites.

Barkley Hall has a policy of no smoking and no alcohol on the property.

Barkley Hall has live-in house parents who are available at all times to provide assistance.
