We currently have a vacancy for a committed Christian with a heart for the evangelical reformed movement to be the Ministry Intern. Whether single, married, have children, this 12-month position seeks someone with a heart for sharing the gospel with students. This part-time position will be based at Barkley Hall Student Residence in Geelong. The role will provide live in pastoral care and ministry support to Barkley Hall residents. This position is welcome to completed alongside other employment or training/study and would receive full administrative support from the RTC Support Services team. This position also includes a private and furnished apartment onsite at reduced rent.
WHAT IS BARKLEY HALL
Barkley Hall aims to provide a friendly, secure and harmonious Christian community and living space for students who are studying at the RTC, Deakin University Waurn Ponds or other tertiary institutions in Geelong.
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the aims and ethos of a Christian education institution.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The ideal candidate requirements:
- Active and reputable member of a local church.
- Must live on-site.
- Desirable – exploring or interested in vocational Christian ministry or theological study.
- Must hold a current Working With Children’s Check.
- Role is subject to a police check prior to appointment.
