PROCUREMENT & FOOD SERVICES MANAGER (30.4 HOURS PER WEEK)

RTC Support Services is looking to hire a Procurement & Food Services Manager (30.4 Hours per week) at The RTC Support Services in Waurn Ponds. The RTC Support Services offers assistance and support for both the RTC and Barkley Hall, ensuring efficient operations and optimal functioning of these facilities.

ABOUT THE RTC SUPPORT SERVICES

RTC Support Services provides management and administrative support for the Reformed Theological College an independent, non-denominational college in the heart of Melbourne’s city. The RTC Support Services also manages Barkley Hall student accommodation which aims to provide a friendly, secure and harmonious Christian community for students who are studying at the RTC, Deakin University Waurn Ponds or other tertiary institutions in Geelong.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The important role of Procurement & Foods Services Manager will commence as soon as possible and involves the overseeing of catering services offered by RTC Support Services as well as being responsible for procurement for the organisation.

You will be working in a well-resourced commercial kitchen with lots of support from the RTC Support Services staff. The applicant is someone who is able to handle managing multiple priorities, able to communicate needs with clients and handle managing a commercial kitchen including procurement, staff & organization of resources.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Certificate IV or higher in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Food safety supervisors certificate or working towards
  • Must hold a current working with Children’s Check
  • Role is subject to a police check prior to appointment
